Intro

I am Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Management, Jaypee University, Anoopshahr and have been affiliated as a visiting research fellow to Duke University since 2018. I have been doing practice, research, and teaching for the past fourteen years in the context of public policy and community development interventions.

Research

Just Transition Research

Worked on Energy Transition away from Coal in India. Devised a community-centric energy transition framework that got published and presented at international and national forums comprised of academicians, trade union leaders, civil society organizations, and media representatives

Community Participation and Social Networks in India

Led a working group funded by Duke University in 2017. The project has resulted papers in highly-ranked, peer-reviewed journals.

Participatory Rural Development in India:Network-Based Social Capital in Panchayats of Uttar Pradesh

The Ph.D. was funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India with partial funding by the Fulbright scholarship board for 08 months at Duke University. The Ph.D. work resulted in one international and three national presentations and two international peer-reviewed (Q1, ABDC indexed) publications. My thesis got published as a book by Emerald.
